FashionAble was conceived in 2015, with the intention to celebrate ability and diversity in the fashion industry. The parade featured male and female models of all abilities and provided people with disability the opportunity to boost their self-confidence and be their own advocate!

Our focus this year is on more inclusive fashion and items that everyone can wear, including those with disability. We aim to increase awareness of the importance of inclusivity, especially in the fashion industry, while raising much needed funds and awareness of Multicap. Multicap is very proud to have a customer and two of our supported employees feature on our runway.
Jess works at Monte Lupo Gallery Café at Eight Mile Plains. She has a flair for baking and enjoys food and beverage preparation and providing great customer service. Jess has an incredible aura when wearing her outfits on the runway. She loves the fashion and atmosphere at FashionAble.
Liam works at Monte Lupo Gallery Café at Eight Mile Plains and always provides great service with a smile.. He has modelled at FashionAble for the past two years and enjoys wearing the latest fashions. He is looking forward to this year's FashionAble saying that he feels brave by walking the runway.
Lara is a Multicap customer who found her passion for creative arts after participating at Multicap’s Centre for Creative Arts (CoCA) program in 2009. Lara has further built her confidence, starring in Fashionable and participating in other musical performances with Multicap.
